Andy Greif, Executive Director: Andy co-founded the first Biddeford Earn-a-Bike program in 2001 and started a youth/adult Trek Across Maine charity cycling team in 2000 which has raised $196,000 for the American Lung Association of Maine. As far as careers, Andy worked as a petroleum geologist in New Orleans, moved to Maine in 1987 to learn timber frame carpentry, and has been working with alternative and special needs kids since 1988 as an experiential education coordinator, organizational development consultant, a school-based counselor using adventure based counseling and wilderness challenge strategies, and a Northern York County Family YMCA branch director. Andy founded the Community Bicycle Center and has served as its Executive Director since October 2005. Andy is a certified League of American Bicyclists Instructor. He enjoys watching kids learn and grow through new experiences guided by caring adults.

Andrew Burnell, Volunteer and Program Director: Andrew joined the Community Bicycle Center (CBC) in September 2009 as part-time Volunteer and Program Director shifting to full-time in September 2010. Andrew facilitates the out-of-school and outreach programs, group rides, volunteer management, and volunteer recruitment. A 2009 graduate of Colby-Sawyer College, Andrew was the Exercise and Sport Science Majors Club President and focused his senior research topic on the influences affecting youth development through sport. Andrew was awarded his mountain bike instructor certification through Back Country Excursions in 2010 and his bicycle safety certification through the Bicycle Coalition of Maine in 2009. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his dogs, friends, family and better-half (in no particular order).

Bronwyn Potthoff, Resource Development/Community Relations Director: Bronwyn worked for CBC as a full-time AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer for two years prior to being hired as the Resource Development/Community Relations Director in 2011. Her primary responsibilities include fundraising, marketing and facilitating our Girls Empowerment Group activities. Bronwyn studied Human Development and Family Systems at the University of Vermont and outdoor leadership at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Patagonia. She taught LNT (Leave No Trace) principles and environmental stewardship while leading backpacking and kayaking trips for adolescents at an all-girls summer camp in Maine. She is certified in bicycle safety through the Bicycle Coalition of Maine and in Fundraising through the University of Southern Maine. Bronwyn's favorite form of precipitation is snow.
