Members of our local and state of Maine community have been very generous in donating bikes to our Community Bicycle Center programs.  Listed below are guidelines to inform potential donors about the bikes we will and will not accept at this time.  These guidelines are based on the needs of our current programs and available storage space.

We will accept:

Mountain bikes
BMX/Freestyle bikes
Kids Pedal Back (coaster) Bikes
Hybrid Bikes
Modern Road bikes
Three-Speed (Sturmey-Archer) Bikes

We will not accept:
           
10 Speed Road Bikes
Bike with rusted parts and frames
Bikes with missing parts
Parts bikes (give us the parts you remove)

We will consider accepting:

Good/Mint condition 10 Speed Road Bikes
Good/Mint condition Antique Bikes
Good/Mint condition Three-Speed Bikes

Pick-up and Delivery:

At this time we do not have the staff or volunteers to pick up bike donations.  You are invited to drop off bikes anytime from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (other times by appointment) at the Community Bicycle Center shop at 284 Hill Street - Biddeford.
