Bike Monkeys
Bike Monkeys joins mentors with mentees to learn how to rebuild discarded bicycles for others in need of two-wheeled transportation. During their commitment to the program, each young person learns bicycle repair skills, shop maintenance and safety habits, and community service concepts, alongside caring adults and teens. This program blends the foundation of mentoring with an activity that many young boys and girls enjoy. The participants commit to a two and a half hour session each week for two months. The youth involved improve their social and learning skills, develop a clearer sense of their goals, and know they have adults committed to their success. CBC offers both a coed program and a girls-only program during February and March. For more information about our coed program, please contact
