Bike Part Art
“Bike Part Art,” which began as a pilot program in 2008 and has continued to grow over the years, encourages youth to explore self-expression while creatively recycling bicycle parts to create works of art. Participants learn the proper name and function of different bike parts while also developing fine-motor, communication, and problem-solving skills. Youth explain their creative process at local community events and fundraisers, including the Biddeford Art Walk, which occurs bi-monthly.
***Bike Part Art programming is currently suspended while we search for a new volunteer instructor. Could it be you or someone you know? Contact Andrew for more information.**
