Bike Rides
During the summer months and shoulder seasons, CBC facilitates three co-ed rides and one girls-only bike ride per week ranging from five to 25 miles. We are a local Trips for Kids chapter, supporting national efforts to provide environmental awareness and confidence-building activities for underserved youth, through mountain biking. We also offer road bike and tandem (two seater) bike rides! Explore local sites including Clifford Park and the Smith Preserve for mountain biking. Join us for road and tandem bike rides to explore places including Fortunes Rocks, Barker Pond, and Goose Rocks Beach! You do not need to own a bicycle to join the rides. CBC has a fleet of road, mountain, and tandem bicycles for kids to borrow on CBC bike rides. CBC group bike rides start in June.
100% of proceeds support the Community Bicycle Center's free youth development programs for kids, especially those considered "at-risk."
Contributions to the Community Bicycle Center are deductible as charitable contributions pursuant to Internal Revenue Code section 170(C) (1)
